  1. “Snowy road” esp. looks like something from someone’s 1940s photo album.

    Snappy Service System must be have been pretty popular. There was once a Snappy Service Inn here in C’ton — maybe just exploiting a better-known name?

    • “Snowy road” is a snowy semi-rural Pennsylvania road, where some of the houses could have been in someone’s 1940s photo album.

      Forgotten Chicago has a conversation about Snappy Service System in Chicago. Someone commented that variations on “snap” were once popular. Maybe Zippy could be Snappy. For a day.
